Ironbound Hard Cider

Ironbound Hard Cider has a bright apple flavor with the perfect balance of sweetness, acidity, and tannins. The lively aroma of fresh-pressed apples is enriched by just a hint of metallic funk from bittersweet apples. Lightly carbonated, this sessionable cider finishes with crisp acidity and only 2.5% residual sugar—leaving behind a clean, fresh apple taste.

Pinelands Rosé

Pinelands Rosé marries the fresh apple taste of Ironbound Original with the tart bite of blood-red cherries, bright acidity of wild cranberries, and soothing warmth of white pepper. The result is a deep-rose tinted cider that is fragrant with the sublime aroma of fresh-pressed cherries. Dry-harvested cranberries from the New Jersey Pinelands lend an herbaceous note to this complex cider. Finishing with a flash of tart cherry and lingering warmth, Pinelands Rosé is the ultimate food-friendly cider.

Highlands Farmhouse

Earthy, dry, and complex, Highlands Farmhouse is Ironbound’s take on a rustic European cider. An infusion of Cascade and Northern Brewer hops gives Highlands Farmhouse a bracing, citrusy bite. Brett-laced bittersweet cider balances that acidity with a pleasing hint of barnyard funk. Let it warm a little in the glass to fully appreciate the range of bold flavors in this one-of-a kind blend.

What’s In The Can

Because Ironbound Hard Cider is 100% FRESH-PRESSED, NOT FROM CONCENTRATE, has NO PRESERVATIVES, and is MINIMALLY PROCESSED...

...there may be a slight tinkling sound in the bottom of your can.

If your hear a rattle in your can or find a tiny speck of brownish, glass-like crystal, do not fear! This is tartaric acid, a natural substance that we use to add an extra touch of brightness to our ciders. Put simply, tartaric acid is derived from grapes and is found in red and white wine. Although there are ways to remove unstable tartaric acid, we prefer to keep the processing of our ciders to a minimum—which means that crystals may occasionally form when our cider is held at a very cold temperature for an extended period of time. Don’t believe us? Try crushing the crystals against a hard surface with your thumb. The crystals will crumble, something glass just would not do.

...there are slight variations in flavor and complexity among batches of Ironbound Hard Cider.

You may have noticed from time to time that the Ironbound you are enjoying today doesn’t taste exactly the same as the Ironbound you had last week. That is because our ciders are made from 100% fresh-pressed local apples, which vary in flavor from harvest to harvest and farm to farm—making each batch of our cider unique. So, if your Ironbound tastes slightly drier, a little funkier, or more complex, take this as our freshness guarantee! And, because we use absolutely ZERO preservatives, we recommend enjoying Ironbound cider by the “best before” date on the bottom of each package.

We are honored to be Jersey’s hard cider. Drink up NJ!
